Situated in the village of Da-Parbatia, this temple door frame is the most outstanding sculptural specimen existing in this century, bearing, along with several fine carvings, two exquisite images of Ganga and Yamuna. The Gaduda image in the middle of the lentil proves that it was a door frame of a Vishnu Temple. It bears an excellent proof of the glory of ancient Assamese art and culture.”
