1. Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School
Total post: 6134 Nos.

Qualification & experience: 50% in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP TET and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes. OR Graduate degree from UGC recognized University with LP TET and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes.

Pay Scale: PB- II @ Rs. 5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay

2. Science Teacher

Qualification: Candidates should have B. Sc. degree from the UGC recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).

Pay scale: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 -20,200/- + Grade Pay

3. Hindi Teacher
No of posts: 1590 Nos.

Qualification: Candidates should have Graduate degree from the UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Pay scale: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 -20,200/- + Grade Pay

4. Arabic Teacher
No of posts: 196 Nos.

Qualification: Candidates should have Graduate degree from the UGC recognized University having Arabic as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Pay scale: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 -20,200/- + Grade Pay

Total posts of UP school: 5144 nos.

Age for LP & UP: 18 to 43 years as on 01-01-2016. Relaxation of upper age limit will be considered for SC, ST (P), ST (H) and PH candidates for another 5 years, as per the Govt. of Assam OM No. ABP.06/2016/04 dated 03/03/2016.

Application Fee for LP & UP: The candidates have to deposit an amount of Rs. 200/- [Rs. 150/- for SC, ST(P), ST(H) candidates and free for BPL candidates] in the form of Indian Postal Order in the name of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19. The candidates must have to submit the IPO in original at the time of document verification only, before the District Level Selection Committee of the district applied for.

Passport size colour photo (from 10 to 40 kb)

Caste certificate (in case of SC/STP/STH/OBC/MOBC)

Certificate of Co-curricular activities, NCC, Sports & Cultural etc. if any (Not above 50 KB in JPG format)

Scanned Signature (from 10 to 40 kb)

BPl Certificate by BPL candidates from concerned authority. (from 10 to 40 kb)

After successful submission of Online form candidates shall take a print out of the form and submit the same along with self attested copies of mark-sheets and certificates in support of educational qualification, caste disability, TET, DEIEd and co-curricular activities at the time of document verification before the District Level Selection Committee of the concerned District.
