In fact, all of these great ideas cost less than $20 per person, so you won’t break the bank trying to spice up your love life!

1) Coffee Shop Crawl

What better way to get the conversation flowing than over a hot drink? Start your date by picking a coffee shop in your neighborhood and ordering two drinks. Talk about what you like or dislike about the café. As you sip your drinks, take note of how long it takes for them to be made and how many people are in line. Jot down any observations that seem interesting—you’ll want to mention these when revisiting the café later on in the date.

2) Arcade Night

If you’re looking for a date idea that will get the two of you out, have some fun, and is perfect for any age group, an arcade night is your best bet. Plus, it’s a good way to break the ice and get comfortable with each other. Fill up on pizza beforehand so you don’t spend too much money inside the arcade.

3) Museum Hopping

Museum hopping is a wonderful date idea for two people who want to get out, see some culture, and spend quality time with each other. As a bonus, you may even learn something new! Museums are often free or offer reduced admission on certain days during the week.

Grab your loved one and head outside. Keep your eyes peeled for constellations, shooting stars, and meteor showers. Hold hands as you gaze up at the sky and talk about all the things you’re grateful for in life.

5) Volunteer Together

Have you been feeling a little stagnant in your dating life? It’s possible that you’re just looking for a new way to interact with someone. Volunteering together is one way you can do this. Helping others in need will not only make you feel good, but it can also help reignite the passion between two people who are looking for something more. There are so many organizations that could use your help, like the Red Cross or Habitat for Humanity, just to name a few.

6) Geocaching

Geocaching is an outdoor adventure game that’s been sweeping the world. Players use a GPS-enabled device, such as a smartphone or handheld GPS unit, to find caches (hidden containers) outdoors and then share their adventures online. Caches are most often located near interesting landmarks or scenic views. Geocaching is easy enough for anyone who can read a map and follow basic directions and is great for those looking for new experiences while exploring their surroundings.

Take your date to a comedy club and you’ll be able to enjoy each other’s company while watching some very funny people. It’s also a great place for meeting new people if you find yourself stuck in a dating rut and need some fresh blood.

8) Karaoke

Karaoke is a great way to get out of your dating rut and have a good time. It’s low stakes, and a great excuse for you and your date to belt out some favorite tunes. Plus, it’s hard not to laugh at the hilarity of mistakes people make when they’re trying their best.

9) Cooking Class

If you’re looking for a date idea that’ll spice things up and get you out of your dating rut, take your date on a cooking class. Learning how to cook together is a great way to bond over food and make memories in the kitchen. Plus, it’s an experience that’ll have you coming back for seconds.

10) Picnic in the Park

Picnics are a great way for you and your date to get out of the house and explore your city. Pack up some drinks, food, and a blanket and head over to the closest park. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard that lifestyle fitness can be your key to getting and staying healthy. But how much of this advice should you believe? With all the conflicting opinions, it can be hard to sort out what really works when it comes to exercise and health, so I’ve narrowed down 10 common myths about lifestyle fitness and the truth behind each one. If you can avoid these common mistakes, you’ll be well on your way to achieving true health and happiness!

1) You don’t need to go to the gym to get fit

It may seem like you need to go to the gym to get fit, but that’s not true. You can get a great workout in your own home with just some dumbbells and an exercise ball. All you need is 20 minutes of time and a little willpower. This is called lifestyle fitness because it doesn’t require much time or money, but still gives you all of the benefits of going to a gym.

2) You can get fit on a budget

The truth is, you don’t need to spend hours on end at the gym or fork out a ton of cash to get into shape. The key to getting fit on a budget is making healthy choices and finding time for workouts during your day.

3) Getting fit takes time

Getting fit takes time and effort. This is a myth that needs to be debunked because it can deter people from being active. If you’re not seeing results, don’t give up! Keep trying until you find something that works for you.

4) You can get fit at any age

You can get fit at any age! It doesn’t matter if you’re 20 or 80, it’s never too late to start taking care of yourself.
Losing weight is one of the most common reasons people go on a diet, but you don’t have to be overweight in order to lose weight and get healthier.
While there are many different ways you can exercise and eat right, there are some things that will work better for certain groups or individuals.

5) You need to be fit to start a fitness program

If you want to start a fitness program, make sure that you are fit enough to do so. You should be able to complete at least one workout without needing a break. It’s also important that you can maintain your level of fitness for an extended period of time, or else it will just be a temporary change. Having the right amount of sleep is essential to your physical and mental well-being. Your body needs at least 7 hours per night in order to function properly.

6) Only skinny people can be fit

One of the most common myths about fitness is that only skinny people can be fit. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Just because you’re not physically strong doesn’t mean you can’t work on your fitness. In fact, it might even be more important for smaller people to stay active to maintain their bone and muscle density. One way to do this is by incorporating strength-training into a daily routine, which will build up muscle mass and help maintain bone density.

7) You can’t be fit and have curves

People often claim that you can’t be both fit and curvy. If a woman is slim, then she’s not curvy. And if she has curves, then she’s not as physically fit as someone who is more slender. But this couldn’t be further from the truth! When it comes to health, fitness does not have to be at odds with having curves or being slim.

8) Fit people don’t eat junk food

There are a lot of myths about what it means to live a healthy lifestyle. One myth is that fit people don’t eat junk food and other types of bad foods. That may be true if you’re talking about fast food or really processed foods, but many fit people do eat these types of food. There are exceptions to every rule. The general idea is that there is no one type of food that will make or break your health goals.

9) Fit people don’t have cheat days

It’s not a matter of whether or not you should have cheat days, it’s how often you should have them.
We all need to indulge every now and then. It doesn’t make us any less fit, and it doesn’t mean we don’t work hard to be in shape.
Cheat days are a great way to keep yourself from getting burned out on healthy eating, too.

10) Being fit is hard work

Being fit is hard work. It takes a lot of time and effort to change your habits and get into shape, but it’s so worth it in the end. Think about how you feel when you’re at your fittest and compare that to how you feel when you’ve fallen off track. There’s no doubt that being fit is worth the time investment. It just takes some dedication on your part to make it happen!

Human beings are creatures of habit, but sometimes we form habits that aren’t helpful or even outright harmful to us. These 10 negative habits can have a serious impact on your life and you don’t even know it. You may think that because they don’t result in painful symptoms, they’re not hurting you, but the truth is they can be much more damaging than we realize. Here are the top ten negative habits that could negatively impact your life if left unchecked

1) Waking up late

It’s important to wake up on time, even if you don’t have much to do or need to be up early. Waking up late makes it hard for your brain to switch gears and can make you feel sluggish all day long. You may end up feeling more tired because of the lack of sleep as well. If you’re not careful, this habit can lead to a vicious cycle where each morning gets worse and worse.

2) Hitting the snooze button

Hitting the snooze button may seem like a harmless habit in the morning, but it can actually have a significant impact on your day. When you hit the snooze button, you force yourself to go through REM sleep again, which means you’ll be getting less total sleep than if you had just woken up and started your day. Plus, it takes an average of 20 minutes to fall back asleep after being awoken by the alarm clock for a second time.

3) Not drinking enough water

You need to drink water, even if you’re not thirsty. When we don’t drink enough water, our mouths get dry, which can lead to cracking lips and sore throats. Our brains also don’t work as well when we’re dehydrated.

4) Unhealthy eating habits

Unhealthy eating habits can wreak havoc on your body and have a negative impact on your life. Overeating or overeating one food group can lead to metabolic disorders such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease. It can also lead to mood disorders like depression and anxiety.

5) Not exercising

You don’t need to exercise for hours every day to reap the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Even a few minutes here and there can make a difference. The key is consistency, so try setting some goals for yourself and sticking with it.
Exercising is also an important part of managing stress levels. It’s been proven that people who exercise regularly have lower levels of cortisol, which means less anxiety and stress in general. Exercise can also alleviate symptoms of depression and help you sleep better at night.

6) Smoking

Smoking has a significant effect on both the smoker and those around them. The smoke from cigarettes contains numerous carcinogens, which can lead to lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and other respiratory diseases. Smoking also affects family members by exposing them to secondhand smoke (or passive smoking), which can cause heart disease, lung cancer, and asthma.

7) Drinking too much alcohol

Drinking alcohol excessively is a bad habit that negatively impacts your life. Drinking too much can lead to liver problems, weight gain, and an increased risk of cancer. Consuming more than one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men is considered excessive drinking. Alcohol has been linked to over 100 diseases including breast cancer, colon cancer, leukemia, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Cutting down on the number of alcoholic drinks you have each week is the best way to start living a healthier lifestyle.

8) Not getting enough sleep

Not getting enough sleep is a terrible habit for many reasons. In addition to reducing the quality of your work, and increasing the chance of you getting sick, not getting enough sleep can have an impact on your emotional health as well. Lack of sleep can lead to mood swings and irritability, which can cause serious problems in personal relationships. The best way to avoid these consequences is by setting a bedtime routine that includes going to bed at the same time every night, and waking up at the same time every morning.

9) Stressing out

Stressing out can have a negative impact on your life. Stress has been shown to affect the immune system, impair cognitive function, and increase the risk of heart disease. The best way to deal with stress is to find ways to minimize or eliminate it from your day-to-day life.

10) Multitasking

Multitasking has been proven to have a negative impact on the brain, due to the fact that it causes you to switch back and forth between tasks. This can lead you to forget what you were doing in the first place, which causes stress and increased anxiety levels.

Everyone deserves to have flawless skin, but it’s not so easy to achieve – especially if you’re already in your late 20s or early 30s, when things like acne and wrinkles are likely to start to pop up on your face. Luckily, there are several effective remedies and methods that can be used to tackle even the worst skin problems, such as acne and wrinkles, including using face oils. But what exactly are these oils? And how can they help you achieve the perfect skin you’ve always wanted? Read on below to find out!

1) Choose the right oil for your skin type

Choosing the right oil is important because not all oils are created equal. For example, olive oil can be too harsh for sensitive skin and jojoba oil may be too heavy. In general, you should use a lighter weight oil if you have dry or aging skin and a heavier weight oil if you have oily or acne-prone skin.

2) If you have acne-prone skin, look for oils that are non-comedogenic

For acne-prone skin, look for oils that are non-comedogenic. This will help the oil to glide on your skin and not clog pores. Avoid essential oils that have comedogenic ingredients like coconut oil, cocoa butter, and shea butter.

3) Apply oil after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizing

  • Apply oil after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizing. This ensures that the pores are open and ready to drink in all of the skin-loving nutrients found in oils.
  • Choose a light, unscented face oil or one with a scent you enjoy (eucalyptus, lavender).
  • Start by applying two drops at the temples and two on the jawline, then work your way down to your neck, chest, arms and hands (if you want).

4) Use a few drops of oil, and massage it into your skin

There are a variety of oils you can use on your skin, but it’s always best to do a patch test first. Experiment with different oils and find what works for you.
Massage the oil into your skin, starting from the inside out.

5) Don’t forget to apply oil to your neck and chest

Applying a face oil is an easy way to keep your skin looking and feeling refreshed. Try massaging the oil into the areas on your body that are prone to dryness such as your neck, chest, wrists, hands or feet. You can also use it as an overnight moisturizer by applying it before bed and letting it work its magic while you sleep.
For a multi-purpose treatment, mix a few drops of your favorite face oil with your foundation for a dewy complexion.

6) You can use face oils in place of, or in addition to, your usual serum

Face oils can be a great addition to your skincare routine if you are looking to bring some extra hydration and nourishment into your life. With so many options on the market today, it can be hard to know where to start or what kind of oil will work best for you.

7) face oils can be used in place of moisturizer

Our skin is our body’s largest organ, so it’s important to take care of it. One way to do that is by using face oils instead of moisturizer. A moisturizer can be iritating and clog your pores, but a face oil won’t. Plus, you get a lot more out of the product because you don’t need as much.

8) If you have oily skin, use oil sparingly

If you have oily skin, use oil sparingly. Use just enough to cover your face and avoid overdoing it or your skin will feel heavy and greasy. It’s also best to use oil at night because it can make your skin too shiny in the day. If you prefer using an oil during the day, try using a light one like apricot kernel oil or grape seed oil that is more easily absorbed into the skin.

9) Be careful when using essential oils

Essential oils are very powerful and should never be used without proper knowledge. You should always do your research on the type of oil you are using, where it comes from, and what it can be used for. You also want to make sure that you are using oils in the correct way as well. For example, some people might use a carrier oil to dilute their essential oils when applying them topically.

10) Use oil in conjunction with other products for best results

If you’re looking to add a little bit more hydration to your routine, adding a face oil is an easy way to do so. Use it in conjunction with other products such as moisturizer or primer for best results. I like to use oil in the morning and at night because it gives my skin that extra boost of hydration before bedtime which is beneficial because my skin tends to be drier when I’m sleeping. You can also mix your favorite oils together to get the perfect blend.

Dry, damaged hair can be embarrassing, especially if you have to wear it down every day to work or school, and you don’t have time to go to the salon every week for repair treatments. That’s why knowing how to keep your hair hydrated from the inside out is so important—it’s not just about getting regular haircuts and color applications; it’s about what you eat and drink, and how you treat your hair at home between trips to the salon. If you want soft, healthy hair, here are 10 tips that will help you say goodbye to dry hair forever!

1) Ditch the shampoo

Ditch the shampoo. Shampooing strips your hair of its natural oils and makes it more prone to dryness, so stop washing your hair every day (or every other day if you want). You’ll need to switch up your routine, but as long as you’re using some sort of moisturizing conditioner or leave-in treatment in between washings, you should be able to maintain a healthy head of hair.

2) Try an apple cider vinegar rinse

Apple cider vinegar is an excellent natural remedy for dry hair. It can be used as a rinse, conditioner, or leave-in treatment. The vinegar restores the balance of moisture in your scalp and leaves your hair feeling soft and shiny. For best results, use apple cider vinegar with water at a ratio of 1:1 or 2:1.

3) Rinse with cold water

Rinsing with cold water is a great way to get rid of dry hair. Cold water closes the cuticle of the hair, locking in moisture and leaving your hair feeling silky smooth. When you start rinsing, work from the ends up and be sure not to use too much shampoo because that will leave your hair feeling tight and dry.

4) Use a boar bristle brush

A boar bristle brush is one of the best ways to get rid of dry hair. Brush your hair with a boar bristle brush after your shower, and then use a conditioner afterwards. The natural oils from the boar bristles will help make your hair healthier, while the conditioner will help it stay hydrated.

5) Get a humidifier

One of the most important things you can do is invest in a humidifier. Humidifiers make the air in your home more humid, which helps prevent dry hair. They also help with allergies and asthma, and they’re one of the best ways to help relieve cold symptoms.

6) Limit washing

Limit washing your hair and only shampoo every other day. This will allow your scalp to produce natural oils, which will also keep the hair healthy. When you do wash, use a gentle cleanser that will not strip the natural oils from your hair. Conditioning is also important, but be sure not to use too much product or conditioners that are too heavy as this can weigh down your locks and cause more dryness.

7) Condition, condition, condition

If you’re looking for a way to combat dry hair, you’ve come to the right place! There are 10 simple tips that will help you get rid of your dry locks. Condition, condition, condition. The first thing you’ll want to do is deep condition every week with either leave-in treatments or in-shower masks. You can also wash your hair less often, since frequent shampooing strips natural oils from your scalp and damages the outer layer of the hair shaft.

8) Invest in a silk pillowcase

A silk pillowcase is a great investment if you have dry hair. It will help your hair stay moisturized overnight, and it’s also easy on your skin. Plus, it’s much easier on delicate fabrics like silk sheets. If you don’t want to spend the money, there are some DIY options too! Just make sure that any ingredients used are non-toxic and don’t irritate sensitive skin.

9) Wear a shower cap

Wearing a shower cap in the shower, or even just after you get out, can trap the moisture in your hair and keep it from drying out. This is especially helpful if you have long hair. Just be sure not to forget the cap when you’re done with your shower!

10) Deep condition once a week

Deep conditioning is a great way to keep your hair hydrated and moisturized. If you deep condition once per week, you should be able to say goodbye dry hair for good. Simply slather on your favorite deep-conditioning product and then wrap your hair in plastic wrap or aluminum foil while the conditioner sits on your scalp. Leave it on for as long as possible, up to an hour if possible, before rinsing off with warm water.

The thought of heading to the gym and sweating it out on an elliptical machine or treadmill can be quite intimidating, especially when it’s cold outside and you have nowhere to go but your living room. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to get in your cardio fix without having to brave frigid temperatures, traffic jams, and gas station bathrooms – if you know where to look! Try one of these 10 ways to get a full body cardio workout at home – no excuses!

1) The Treadmill

Treadmill work is one of the best ways to get an effective full body cardio workout without having to leave home. The only real downside is that treadmills are not cheap, but if you’re serious about getting in shape then it’s worth the investment.

2) The Elliptical

The elliptical is one of the most popular pieces of fitness equipment. This is because it provides an intense, full-body workout that’s low impact and easy on the joints. But what if you don’t have room for it in your home? The good news is that there are plenty of ways to get your cardio fix with this machine, even if you have limited space.

3) The Rowing Machine

A rowing machine is one of the best tools for getting your heart rate up. You can also do interval training on it, which will help you burn more calories in less time. To start out with an intense workout, try 15 minutes with five minutes of high-intensity intervals (alternating between sprints and walking) followed by 10 minutes of low intensity intervals (walking). As you get stronger, increase the high-intensity intervals to six or seven minutes and the low-intensity intervals to 12 or 13 minutes.

4) The Exercise Bike

The exercise bike is one of the most under-used pieces of equipment in the gym. It can be used for both cardio and resistance training, making it an excellent option for your full body workout. Plus, you can set it up so it’s convenient, allowing you to watch TV or read while getting in a great workout.

5) The Stair Climber

The stair climber is the perfect cardio machine for the home gym. It’s easy to set up and use, doesn’t take up much space, and you don’t need any equipment other than your own body weight. This one is great if you want an upper body workout as well as cardio. The best part about this workout is that it also helps improve your overall balance and coordination.

6) The Jump Rope

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but jump ropes are really popular these days. In fact, you can find some pretty awesome jump rope workouts on YouTube. But don’t have time for that? The good news is you don’t need fancy equipment or even a gym membership for this full body cardio workout because all you need is a small space and your trusty jump rope.

7) The Punching Bag

One of the biggest reasons why many people shy away from cardio is because they don’t want to spend money on an expensive gym membership or buy bulky workout equipment. However, there are plenty of exercises you can do at home that provide an awesome full body cardio workout. For example, punching a bag will not only tone your shoulders and arms but also works your core, legs, back and abs. You’ll be sweating in no time!

8) The Skipping Rope

Skipping is one of the best ways to get a full body workout and it’s pretty affordable too. You can find one for about $6 or less on Amazon. It will only take you about 15 minutes to work up a sweat, so why not give it a try? If you’re not sure how to do it, there are plenty of instructional videos on YouTube. Just type in skipping rope and you’ll see what I mean.

9) The resistance Band

Many people believe that they need expensive equipment in order to get the most out of their workout. But with the right tools, you can get a full-body cardio workout without ever leaving your home. The resistance band is versatile and inexpensive, so it won’t cost you a lot of money or take up too much space in your house. With this in mind, here are some ways that you can use resistance bands for an effective workout

10) The Balance Ball

One of the best ways to work your upper and lower body is with the use of a balance ball. Balancing on an unstable surface while working your muscles helps engage more muscle fibers and causes you to burn more calories. You can also use this piece of equipment for core strengthening exercises. Sit on the ball, then lie back and raise your legs until they are fully extended in front of you. Do not let go of your abdominal muscles or raise your butt off the ball during this exercise.

5) A cat’s brain is very similar to a human’s

Cats are known for their intelligence and curious nature, which makes them great companions for humans. In fact, cats’ brains are very similar to humans in many ways. For example, the same regions of the cat brain that light up when people anticipate and experience rewards light up when cats anticipate and experience rewards. This similarity is likely one of the reasons why cats can seem like furry little people.

6) Cats have excellent night vision

Cats have excellent night vision. In fact, they are one of the few animals that can see in total darkness. This is because their eyes have more rods and cones than other animals. Cats also have an extra layer of tissue at the back of their eyes that reflects light back through the retina, allowing them to see better at night than other animals.

7) Cats have an extra organ that allows them to taste scents

Cats have an extra organ that allows them to taste scents. This is called the vomeronasal or Jacobson’s organ. The olfactory bulb of their brain deals with the sense of smell, while the vomeronasal deals with the sense of taste. Cats use this sense primarily when they are hunting prey, as it helps them identify what animal they are tracking.
